Other Information:

The Visciola Cherry Wine is obatined from a long fermentation  of Montepulciano & Sangiovese grapes, with the subsequent addition of Visciola cherries.
Visciola Cherry is a small, spherical, dark-colored cherry with a sour taste.
These fruits are placed in glass containers with sugar, and are exposed to the sun in the hot months of late June-July; following a syrup is produced from their fermentation.
The wine has an intense red color, it’s vinous and full.
The wine is medium-sweet with a slightly bitter aftertaste, fragrant, and it goes well with any dessert.

Producer profile:
Since 1925 the company has been dedicated to the protection and care of the territory and man; the philosophy has always been and will remain to adopt a healthy agriculture with adequate agronomic techniques. To produce authentic wines that reflect the grape varieties and the territory. In 2004, thanks to the intervention of Lorenzo of the latest generation, the company was renewed and structured in a significant way, dedicating itself almost exclusively to the cultivation of grapes and the production of wine. Innovation is implemented both at agronomic and production levels; the processes are carried out manually. Pruning involves an appropriate choice of bud load in the vineyards; during the vegetative phase of the vine, thinning techniques are adopted. The harvest, carried out exclusively by hand, guarantees a better control of the bunches, which is essential to obtain quality wines.
