Producer profile:
Mariangela Plantamura has reacquired the vineyards that had once been owned by her family, a gesture that testifies the attachment to the land and its traditions. Mariangela and her husband’s company is almost entirely female, with the help and enthusiasm of their daughters Alessia and Chiara. In addition to healthy and strong vines, flowers of all kinds, the ever-present wind and the many useful insects, in the vineyards you can also find oyster fossils in large quantities. The 10 hectares of vineyards are all located in the territory of Gioia del Colle, in the districts of San Pietro, Parco Largo, Marzagaglia and Terzi. The wines are straightforward and without unnecessary frills, a total expression of the grape variety and the soil.
