Producer profile:
Grandfather Vincenzo purchased the first plots in the “Linguaglossa” area at the beginning of the 20th century. Today the company is managed by the nephews Salvo and Fabio who, with the help of their parents Santo and Nina, have expanded the family business. In 2018, starting from the recovery of one hectare of a centenary vineyard, and with the acquisition of new plants covering 7 hectares, the Neri family started the organic production of Etna DOC wines. Respect for the terroir – which contributes to the production of expressive wines of the territory – and sustainability represent the two pillars of the production philosophy of all the family activities; particular attention is given to the production of electricity, entirely supported by a renewable system. The meticulous care of the vineyards is the result of a tradition that the Neri family have handed down for generations, in the awareness that deep roots never die.
