Viognier = fermented and aged in stainless steel. Procanico & Malvasia = fermented in stainless steel, aged 7 months in used barriques on the fine lees

Producer profile:
The Barr-Bettschart family, infected by the passion for viticulture, has doubled the properties in the Chianti area; and so it is that Gagliole (purchased in the ’90s in Castellina) has been joined by Tenuta la Valletta, in the Conca d’Oro di Panzano, home to a modern winery made energetically autonomous by solar panels. In 2020 another 4 hectares of vineyards were planted near the “Chapel of the Fishes” near Badia a Passignano. The production is directed towards a modernity inspired by tradition, where there is no shortage of wines with a strong personality.
